Error 310 (net :: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS) is the error code of the redirect of the Google Chrome browser.
It basically shows that the site you are trying to open redirects you to another site, which in turn redirects you back to the first site.
It turns out a cycle that is not interrupted.
Previously, when such a problem was encountered, older versions of browsers simply loaded this cycle endlessly.
Which naturally led to the application of stopping and closing the browser. Now browsers have become smarter.
Every time the browser finds such a “ redirect cycle,” it simply stops the task of loading this page and shows the error code err too many redirects, which literally translates as “too many redirects.”

I had a problem with Google Chrome (51.0.2704.103). When I try to sign in to my Youtube and Gmail account, I get the error message “ ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS.”
Message 2
I get this error when opening one of my websites in the Chrome browser.
When I tried to open it in other browsers such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, and even Tor, it worked fine.
So, as you can see, you can get this problem on one or more websites, as well as on your own website.
Now I have divided this solution into two different categories according to two different conditions.
Condition No. 1: Having this problem on one or more websites
Solution 1 – correct date and time
If the date or time of the PC or laptop is not set correctly, then it’s 100% that you see redirection errors on some secure websites.
You just need to set the date to the correct value. Just change the time and date, time zone and region settings.
If you are using a computer with Windows, you can open the clock settings by clicking RMB on the clock in the lower right corner of the screen.
If you are using a Mac computer, then you need to go to the Apple menu.
Then click on “ System Settings ” and “ Date and Time ” to open its date setting menu.
Solution 2 – deleting cookies on the site
Cookies (cookies) – small pieces of information, which mainly consist of some text lines. The browser automatically saves them.
If they were saved incorrectly or not written correctly at all, a similar error might occur when trying to access a site. You just need to clear the cookies.
How to do it:
First, right-click on the middle of the page that shows this error. Click “View Code,” or you can also press ” Ctrl + Shift + I ” to open this menu.
After that, go to the Application tab and find the parameter called ” Cookies ” in the left sidebar.
Right-click on the cookie and click ” Clear ” to clear all cookies on this site.
Restart the browser to see the changes. You can also clear the cookies of all sites, for this click: ctrl + shift + delete.
Solution 3 – Update your browser
Your Google Chrome browser is outdated. To fix this, you will need to update it to the latest available version.
You can do this as follows: click on the three dots icon then click on the “Update Google Chrome” button and click on “Reload.”
Solution 4 – Reset browser settings
It is unlikely, but it happens that chrome contains unnecessary files, such as a cache or a cookie in too large a volume.
Also, you could accidentally change any important settings. Fortunately, this can be fixed. You just need to take a few simple steps to reset all chrome settings completely.
This method is suitable for solving many problems.
So, the first thing you need to do is enter this address “ chrome: // settings / resetProfileSettings ” in the address bar of the Chrome browser and press “Enter.”
You will see a window with a ” reset ” button. Just click on it.
Condition number 2: err too many redirects WordPress how to fix
If you have this problem on your WordPress site, below there are three different things you can try to fix this problem:
Problem with code redirection. If you recently added some redirection code to your web page to redirect the user to another page, make sure that the code is written correctly.
Problem with plugins – if you use plugins related to redirection, try disabling them one by one.
The problem with the htaccess file – if none of the above actions help, then it is possible that this problem occurs due to the htaccess file on your site.
