NASA Saw Something Come Out Of A Black Hole For The First Time Ever

There are things you don’t have to know much about to realize that black holes usually suck things in, not spew things out. But NASA has detected something mighty bizarre in a supermassive black hole called Markarian 335.

Two of NASA’s space telescopes, including NuSTAR, saw a black hole’s corona launch away from it. It’s amazing what we can do with technology today.

Then a huge pulse of X-ray energy erupted. Never has something like this happened before, and it

It is the first time we have been able to link the corona to a flare. NuSTAR’s principal investigator Dan Wilkins of Saint Mary’s University said that this will help them understand how black holes power some of the bright objects in the universe. This is one of the biggest discoveries so far. The nature of the energetic source wasnigmatic, but the ability to record the event should have given some clues about the black hole’s size and structure. This black hole is still very far away.

No matter what weird things it did, it shouldn’t have affect on our part of the cosmos.

We know a little about space, but a lot of what we think we know is just theory which has yet to be proven or dis-proven. Yes, some textbook will have to be revised as students need to be learn most updated version of discoveries. And while this particular supermassive black hole is 324 million light years away, I’m not taking any chances.
